Mission of Grants Program

Enhance post-secondary education opportunities for Minnesota students by relieving some of their financial burden through scholarships and/or assistance with their post-secondary readiness preparation.

Focus of Program

1. Providing grants to nonprofit organizations that provide post-secondary educational scholarships.

2. Providing grants to nonprofit organizations delivering preparation assistance for students seeking entrance to, and retention in, a post-secondary educational institution.

Grants are need-based and results-oriented.

Grants Program Cycle

Organizations may re-apply for funding, with a maximum of three subsequent requests during respective grant cycles. Acceptance of these applications/requests is determined on the success of the program previously funded.

At this time, grant requests are not being accepted. The next proposal cycle and dates for submitting applications/proposals will be posted on this site when respective dates have been determined.
